Rain, rain go away!

I think it is safe to say WE ARE ALL SICK OF THIS BLOODY RAIN. I feel bad for the school teachers who are cooped up with the kids with no outdoor recess because of it. Suffice to say, I'm not totally looking forward to volunteering today because they are all going to be insane little kids today. I just know it.

I feel bad for Mama Robin in the tree next to our door. She spends most of her time with her wings spread out over the nest trying to keep her 4 babies dry. Not an easy job, but then again, what mother's job is? Rather than flying off the nest when we go out, she just looks at us as though to say, "Can't you please do something about this?" Suffice to say on Sunday anytime we crossed the threshold, we told her what a good mama she was and wished her a Happy Mother's Day. A little crazy, but that's what the rain does to you after this long (it's either that or grow gills).

Peace, love and sunshine (eventually) to you all.
